At last year's VVS Alumni Reunion Weekend, members of the Class of 1971 organized a BBQ dinner as a fund-raiser for the VVS global garden. The dinner was catered by Greg Chandler '71 and Marcia Bisgyer Avallone ’71. The class raised several thousand dollars for the garden, and put in some manual labor as well over the weekend to build a retaining wall.

Reunion this year is June 15 and 16. Special class dinners may be held on Thursday, June 14 so stay tuned.
