Competitive Chess

Chess team is a great way to be in a competitive  environment without being athletic, but there  are opportunities to not play competitively and  learn chess as well. Chess is a great way to strengthen your strategic thinking, spatial  reasoning, and cognitive awareness. 

The chess team plays matches at other  schools, just like soccer, basketball, and coordination, and  lots of fun. Please note that this is not a  competitive team, so there will not be any  interscholastic competition this season.
