Rock Climbing

We learn a variety of skills, including setting anchors, belaying, rappelling, and finger grips to ensure a safe and fun experience.  Team building and trust are a natural result of this thrilling activity.
The red rocks of Sedona are known worldwide for being the most dramatic and beautiful setting for this sport.

Whether you’re a beginner or an expert climber, our program utilizes a small on-campus wall to develop skills, strength, and stamina, readying students for the challenges of the rocks further afield. Local climbing areas are close enough to reach for afternoon sessions on sandstone spires, granite boulders, overhanging limestone, and basalt cracks.
